CP's one and only M640 4744 leads five big alcos on an eastbound freight. One of those shots you kick yourself for. My Brother skipped classes to to spend an afternoon at Port Hope. I stayed in class and never saw the M640 until it was donated to Exporail.

  1. Don’t feel too bad, Eric, I never saw the 4744 or the 8921 operating or otherwise. That is a great shot, btw! Your brother made a wise choice to have a DIY field trip.

    That shot is taken at Lovekin siding just outside Newcastle (where Lakeshore Rd and Stevenson Rd meet).
