Comments on: General overall view at Woodstock, showing the CN station on the left, the diminutive yard on the right, as well as CN 7160 working same. This image, looking westward, was taken from the old wooden Bay St bridge, long since removed. The GMD SW8 was off the roster by 1989. There is a ‘speeder’ sitting off track by the station as well,(that must be a cold ride) and note the different cabooses being moved by the switcher. Is one a flanger?

Everywhere we go, it appears the yards are gone and the activity ceases. And there is nothing exciting about a station with no life.

The station area in Woodstock looks better in this picture than it did the last time I was down there.
It was certainly more lively.
