Grand River Railway 626, a combined passenger and baggage/express car was only two years old when this photo was taken having been built in 1947 by National Steel Car in Hamilton.  Pictured here at Preston yard awaiting its next assignment, it turned out to be the last electric interurban car built in Canada.  It was scrapped in 1947.
