In 1988 CN 6060 found herself at the BCR Steam Shop getting some major work performed. Once completed, the locomotive first spent some time switching freight cars at the BCR North Vancouver yard. Here she puts on quite a show as she gets a string of cars moving. The following day 6060 double-headed to Squamish and back with ex CP 3716, then to top it off, did the same thing the following day with Royal Hudson 2860.
Indeed, it was quite a time.

  1. Such a beautiful engine Steve! Quite a time indeed! – Ken

  2. Very nice picture Steve. Interesting to see the “Alberta” plate underneath the 6060 number plate underneath the iconic conical front end, along with ditch lights. Yes, very exciting times in 1988 with CN 6060 ! Thank you

  3. I hope she gets her repairs done sooner than later. CN could simply write it off and put her back to work!
