The last Cayuga Clipper passes the Caboose along Tower Rd, on its way to Tillsonburg, to take the rest of the cars at IGPC Ethanol in Aylmer and Future Transfer in Tillsonburg. The 2 matching F units where great for the last run on the Cayuga Clipper.

  1. Here we have the old and the old. The difference, the caboose only watches from trackside while the 6508 still rides the rails. The real ouch, no more trains passing by. :-(

  2. There are still trains operating on this section of track:

Cando still has operating rights to mile 113.55 just shy of the bridge near New Sarum. They use the siding at New Sarum to store empty frame cars. Not sure how often they go out there, but they’ll have to pass by here to do it :) Most OSR trains I shot @ New Sarum were passing the siding filled with empty frame cars so they clearly went regularly.

It’s just too bad no one was able to get a meet of OSR and Cando in New Sarum :)
