The west end of Strathearne Yard is a pretty easy place to shoot CN - the 1600 is here on a near daily basis. CP is a bit more of a challenge - they're almost always here exclusively in the mornings. So to find my favourite CP unit at the west end of the yard yesterday afternoon during a brief window of sun was quite the treat. Hat tip to the crew too: the best days with CP in Hamilton are when TE11 is in town (Saturdays).

  1. Sweet light, ran into this unit randomly in the summer at Preston running back to Wolverton on a T72, was a great surprise sunny chase with this unique unit

  2. Thanks Liam. It’s a nice unit to shoot. Second time in Hamilton for it this year and have tried to make the most of both. Look forward to seeing some of those T72 shots eventually.

  3. Very nice James. What do you like about this unit? Besides, what appears, the bell next to the front truck!
