Just like the good old days! It's been at least 6 or 7 years since I last photographed an SD40-2F active on the CP roster. Let alone the chance to shoot a pair of them in 2020, who would of ever thought this would ever happen again. CMQ 9020 & 9022 take charge on CP train 9143-12 as they cross over the cherrywood trestle. Glad to see you back old friends, thanks for bringing back some fond memories growing up.

After setting off a handful of autoracks for Spence and lifting 1 car bound for Toronto, they meet a very late 119-07 at Spence. Lights fading and finally CWR-04 rolls into frame as it makes its way through the north end of Palgrave.

The beaver is back! With its journey across the country almost complete, train 100-23 has one last setoff on route before going east with headend autoracks for Toronto. After lifting Chicago traffic from Vaughan IMS, CP7010 shoves west across the former west toronto diamond towards Lambton yard to set off the tailed Chicago IMS traffic. CP7010WestToronto100-23

4107 west crawls through the USRC at 15mph making its way towards the Galt Sub, 41B-25 starts its journey back west to Calgary. I decided this location because at one point in time it was normal to see heavy weight coaches, f-units and freight roam through the heart of Toronto. Almost like time machine into another era; A lot has changed over the years but a classic scene like this never will.

Sometimes things just happen to work out as intended. 4107 South CP 40B-13, rolls south along the lower Galt past Bloor GO station. Having gotten skunked in the morning as it came south on the MacTier, I knew I didn't have a big window to make up for it, but some how the stars alined and it worked out.

Still in original Delaware & Hudson paint and earning its keep, DH 7303 takes charge on this year’s weed spraying train. Luckily for us in Southern Ontario, this is the second year in a row with a Delaware and Hudson GP, where the sister unit 7304 worked last year’s spray train. In my opinion,the days are numbered, its only a matter of time before these two see the spray booth and get repainted. Hopefully they don’t, and escape the paint for a while longer.

The Credit Valley Explorer is on its very last and final run operated by Cando along the ex CP Owen sound sub. Cando will be pulling out as of June 30th, with talks of 5 companies bidding on the switching operations and we will see if the Credit Valley Explorer excursions continue under the new operator.

It's definitely not everyday you get to shoot a freight rolling through the heart of city on the Oakville sub. But today just happened to be on of those days, with a trio of GMD geeps and 88 racks on the drawbar. CN 570 makes its way west along the Oakville Sub, as GO 918 rolls along heading east toward Union station, next stop exhibition station!
