This SD40-2 is only 4 years old but will be repainted in 2006 to the beaver scheme and still bear the same number. Of course the van is now a piece of history itself. Some points of interest no longer seen or rarely seen include: &quot;barrel&quot; headlight, white extra flags, ratchet handbrake, oil lanterns on switch stands, stock cars on headend, wood cabooses, footboards on engine, and 2nd unit RS3 3022.
4401&#039;s original number was 1725 until 1956, rebuilt to 7041 in 1992 and scrapped in 2013.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

Very little of this scene remains today, only the white building on the right and the mainline itself (note westbound on main in background). The entire roundhouse facility is gone and now is a sports recreation center.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

It appears to be steam powered. I never saw it in operation. Was always on standby. If my memory serves me correctly it went to London for scrap.
