Comments on: A follow up for Jason’s picture a few images below here showing CN 1335, which became SOR 1201, then LDS 1201 but what wasn’t stated and not even posted on this site was 1335 is now VIPX 1201 and toils in relative obscurity in Sarnia. This should be the first picture of this unit on rp.ca in VIP paint but it’s been around for over 10 years..
VIP Rail is rarely posted here – and for good reason. The vast majority of the railway is on private property and half their operation is absolutely totally inaccessible without company permission. And what is accessible is difficult with minimal public property nearby. There are a couple spots near Vidal St you can see action though if you are lucky.

All three remaining SOR SW1200RS units (1285, 1201, 1359) were overhauled and repainted by LDS before going to their new owners (1285 became LDS 0179, 1201 to VIPX 1201, and 1359 to Cando CCGX 1006).

1335 as SOR 1201: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=18115

1335 still under CN: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=43409

I do believe 1201 was rebuilt/painted by LDS but was probably not owned by them - it's not listed as having been LDS owned in the TSG.

Prior numbers for it according to CTG: TOR 1335 (1995) and CANX 1335 (1995) and CN 1335 (1993)
