This must have been one of the first runs of Conrail paint in the area, since a bunch of fans were out or fresh conrail paint was interesting at the time.

Jakob nice work on putting it all together. I love it when folks tie everything on the site in a nice web.

To complicate things, Reg Button also shot this train going through Clifton Hill/Niagara Falls (Linda Button posted the image on Facebook), so more than a few people were out for it.

This is the best shot of this train yet!

I also have a slide without a name of this exact train, taken from (I assume) the Greenhill reservoir. There was also speculation when I posted it that Bill McArthur was responsible:
https://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=45321

Would it have been possible in to chase this from that site to the Vinemount vantage point? It looks like some walking had to be involved, and Greenhill Avenue hadn't been built yet.

These two shots are definitely the same train, but if the date on Mr. Danko's slide is correct, this power set stayed together for a while and came to Toronto at least one other time:

Jacob, without actually knowing the answer to your query, it makes me get to thinking; 'is there any other company that shipped in crates thru this time frame'?

Would those gondolas with crates be from Tillsonburg? Have seen shots of similar traffic returning to Woodstock on the Port Burwell Sub local.
