Back on Canadian soil.

Rapido Trains recently acquired the ex-VIA, ex-CN “E” series sleeping car, Edmundston. It was built in 1954 for CN as #1115, one of 52 cars in the E series. These cars were named after cities and towns in Canada with names beginning with E, and they each had four sections, eight duplex roomettes, and four double bedrooms.

It is seen here, in Canada, for the first time in many years.

At 86 years young this former CN Scale Test car, built in 1929 at CN's Moncton Shops doesn’t show its age. CANAC International acquired this car in 2010 from Canadian National. It is seen here, near Welland, awaiting the next call to duty.

Delaware and Hudson caboose #35712 is show in Welland yard on the CP Hamilton Sub on July 16th, 2013. THis caboose is destined for Taylor, Pennsylvania. I want to thank Relic (RFM) for the tip.

CN GP9rm #4139 and #4136 are seen leaving Feeder Yard with 30+ cars as a storm rolls in from the south. One of the longest trains I have even seen pulled out of that yard.
