Quite a sight for 2012. Mother Parkers private car Pacific adds a timeless touch of elegance to the rear VIA train #67. This car is currently touring to raise money for Alzheimer's awareness in honour of the late Paul Higgins Senior. A special thanks goes to the gentleman in the jacket for the tin of coffee and the rest of the passengers that add to the human element of this scene.

One last shot: After our farewell to engineers Wayne and Dennis at Gravenhurst Station we hit the highway running in order to get to this spot ahead of them for one final shot as 698 pulled out of Washago Station and headed for Toronto.

Today's 595, a "one car wonder" on return from Longford Mills, passes some of the colorful fall foliage that makes the Muskoka area a magnet for tourists from all over the world at this time of year.Too bad we don't have a passenger train to bring them here anymore! :(

CN 5705 leads a freight through Brantford Ontario on a sunny July day. A young railfan covers his ears from the squeeling of the wheels on the many freight cars that are on the freight. That young railfan is now RP.ca contributor Joseph Bishop...where it all started trackside.

On an April 1977 Saturday morning a red over green over red signal indication sends CP Rail train #381 over the Leaside crossovers and down the hill to TTR trackage, past the Cherry Street tower and onto Toronto Union. The three RDC-1 Budd cars assigned to the Friday train #380 to Havelock were required due to heavy passenger load with the near empty Budds returning Saturday on #381. Kodachrome by S. Danko.

A blast from the past! GTW 5936, IC 1030 and GTW 5933 ease Capreol-Toronto #596 up to Snider before entering MacMillan Yard. GTW 5936 is the last SD40-2 to wear Grand Trunk blue and made for a nice surprise on a beautiful saturday in November.

Finally took in picture! From my house, I see ALL trains passing on the Drummondville Subdivision. So, I seen this rare BCOL Dash9-44cwl #4643 on this Ultratrain. I knew this locomotive will pass again and again on ultratrain but not forever... And I never had time to go to took it in picture. But during a evening, I seen it passing on a eastbound going to Ultramar! Finally, the next day(beautiful day as picture can show) I went to the '' Pont famtome'' near my house to took it on picture that I show with you now! This is my third time I take 3 different style of BCOL engines at the exactly same location!

NS 1068, the Erie heritage unit, became the 2nd NS heritage unit to find its way in to Canada today on NS H3R from Buffalo. NS 8300, a former CR C40-8, made for a good companion on today's train, seen here lifting their first cut of US bound traffic out of the yard in Fort Erie. Murph's Law, it came over from the US leading long hood forward and in the pouring rain.

A railway that owned 51 diesel locomotives and where the daily freight trains have a 548 rail route mile run...(and is now gone...)<br><br>...today, August 2, 1982, the daily train is five hours into the 24 hour run to St. John's: Terra Transport #204 is at the Black Duck River bridge with five NF210's: TT#910 - TT#940 - TT#917 - TT#919 (CN noodle) - TT#918 (CN zebra) with eighty plus cars: a dimunitive railway?
