An Algoma Central GP38-2, masquerading as Wisconsin Central #2006, and a WC GP40-2 are the power for today's local out of Hawk Junction and have their 2 car train in tow. It's early morning in Hawk Junction and this power and train were setoff by the southbound freight last night to do work in and around Hawk Junction today. I think it is sad how both the CN. and formerly the WC, let the former Algoma Central fall from it's former glory.

  1. Looks like two loads from the Dubreuil Forest Products mill. Probably from the previous day’s Franz Turn which worked Dubreuilville and Franz. (The sawmill also shipped out large amounts of woodchips to paper mills on the CP, using gondolas supplied by CP.)
