Killean siding is no more - as of 08/23/2013 this east switch, and the signal are removed, and the siding has been stub ended. Now it is called the "Killean Storage Track"
In this photo, the conductor of the westbound CP rack train, CP 9640 west (no other power) has manually thrown the switchto normal it and proceed westward. Train 142, the St. Thomas, Ontario to Oshawa, Ontario frame train is impatiently waiting to depart eastward. This was the last run of the scheduled Frame Train - the next day CP annulled the train opting instead to run the GM Oshawa traffic on Woodstock locals, being lifted by other trains en-route.

  1. Boy do I ever miss the frame train!

  2. Im assuming this is for the process of removing some sidings and extedning the rest so they can stop having trains waiting at GUE for an Eastbound thats just leaving Quebec Street in London?
