Norampac GP9 #169, former Quebec Northshore & Labrador #169, is busy switching the paper mill in Red Rock, Ontario this day. The unit has just switched a cut of cars that the CP had setoff here a few hours earlier. Today, as I understand it, the paper mill in Red Rock is closed and the unit has moved on to become CANAC 8701 and is back switching paper at the mill in Marathon, Ontario. Here is a link to the unit now.... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=262952&nseq=1

  1. With the closure of the mill in Marathon this unit has since been shipped (2009) to Alberta and currently rests there. I think Canac Rail is slowly going to death… not much news
