A little rough around the edges but still a beautiful treasure with a lot of character! I think we can all appreciate an F Unit no matter what shape it's in and this is no exception. Being that they were very slightly before my time, to see them either in a museum or operating it is a wonderful experience. I just hope she can hold onto her CN noodle and Zebra Stripes for a while more. Far too much equipment has been painted into the short lived, old fashioned, Green/Gold/Black scheme, in most cases unprototypically.

  1. Yes, please not more green and gold. These units spent far more time in the 1961 image than the ‘dated when it was introduced’ G&G. If they do go with the G&G, please have them put some wood paneling on the sides to complete the effect.
