Caption: OSRX 6508 rests in front of the Woodstock depot. The OSR crew has just arrived and are about to fire up the engines for today's work. Interestingly, I saw them start the engines up (here) and power them down later at the Salford shops to end the day. Trailing the 6508 is GP7 number 383. The words, "Spirit of St. Jacobs," can still be noticeable under the cab window, a reminder to its previous use powering the Waterloo-St. Jacobs tourist train on the Waterloo Spur between Waterloo and St. Jacobs.
