Interurban heritage is clearly evident at this location, on the former Grand River Railway, where the CPR Waterloo Subdivision runs beside King St. The Grand River Railway ran beside and inside many streets until about 1994, this is all that remains of beside-street running today. This location is mountain grade territory, 2% between mile 7 and mile 9... something tells me they made it up the hill today :)
