This is somewhat worthy to note, as earlier they had a broken knuckle near Grafton in hogback country; a common occurrence before, and the reason many tonnage trains receive, DPU’s on the Kingston Sub. I’ve seen examples of both the 2100 series C40-8′s and the 1000 series SD70′s in use as remotes with 2200/2300/8800/8900 leaders, but never together as a lead and remote pair.
