One of the last St. Thomas & Eastern westbound for St. Thomas rolls through farmland just east of Alymer with two cars from Tillsonburg. Old telephone poles still stand tall along the old Canada Air Line rails here. The tracks east of Alymer may not survive the next year with the end of the STER.
