Caption: For a brief period in & around 1988 the CN had on lease five B&LE SD9s, numbers 825,827,829,841 and 843. Here we see CN 9636, B&LE 825 and 841 on a Fort Erie-bound train rumbling thru Bayview Jct. on a 'not bad' for winter February afternoon. In the photo between his car (right) and mine (left) is rail buff Pete Hoople, keeping an eye on his video camera as the train passes. In the centre on the horizon is the lone smokestack for the defunct Burlington Brick Plant, a business since razed and replaced with a housing survey. Now "Off Limits" is this location known for us being able to sit in our cars, keep warm, and listen to the scanner while eyeing the signals. Railfanning at its laziest. :o)
