Looking a little worse for wear Wisconsin Central GP30 #700 is the mid-unit of a trio that came into Sault Ste. Marie on the morning of May 8, 2001. No mistaking the SOO LINE heritage of the unit in this case. WC 700 later was donated to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth, MN and has since been restored to her former SOO Line beauty, but it's hard to believe how bad it looked in 2001. Here is a link to the 700 working for the Museum to store empty hoppers.... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=276116&nseq=50
