One of my more difficult experiences for some reason was catching a freight train northbound thru Unionville. And this one just barely made town by sunset. CN 9401 leads this local run......grain building and station provide a quaint setting; note open self-serve 25¢ "Globe" paper box. The station was served daily by Buddcars for people commuting to Toronto. As with many old time stations in the GTA, the building has been preserved as a GO Transit stop. (Uxbridge sub ran from Scarborough to Lindsay back in 1976)

  2. Great shot Arnold. I think there is something about trains and grain elevators
    that just belongs together.
