CN 2684 (the DPU on CN 308 which derailed in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick on Jan. 7th 2014) is heading to CAD (Canadian Allied Diesel) in Lachine, Quebec for much needed repairs. The crewmembers are operating the two GP9's (CN 4102 & CN 7017) which are pushing the train westwards via beltpack. Of note is that this spur which only serves one customer now (CAD) was once CN's main line to the west till a line relocation in 1960. For more train photos, click here.
