At the height of the colourful era of leased/run thru power during the mid 1990s, one never knew what to expect on CP or CN. It was a great time to be out.  An example shown here is eastbound CN #384 with GTW 5936 and CR 6747 on approach to Bayview Jct en route to Toronto.  The GTW was the former UP 4192.

  1. GTW 5936 remains in blue today, the last SD to do so, however it looks far worse now than in does in this photo.

  2. Another nice shot Arnold. The railways were pretty busy at that time too. Lots of trains to see compared with now.
