It has been a while since I have been trackside on a Thursday and having spent three hours with nothing to show but Hi-Rails, I was about to leave when the scanner said a westbound led by 6066 was coming. I had been at Blandford on Sunday when 6066 headed east with 6250 and KCS Mexico 4655 went through with a mixed freight. Could I be lucky? I arrived at Wolverton west end to see 6066 and 4655 lead a string of intermodals. Somewhere they had been turned and had "ditched" the SD60 and were heading west!
