CDAC 905 gets underway after a crew change at Lac-Megantic, Quebec in October of 1997. The house in the forground just escaped the devestation of the MM and A run away oil train derailment of July 6, 2013. Everything, and I mean everything to the right of this home and the third locomotive is gone from the blast of the oil tank cars.

  1. A truly somber image – but shows the beauty that can be found in Lac Megantic and area. Really makes me want to go out that way and try my hand at photography in the Eastern Townships.
