The GP20C-ECO is another variant in EMD's repower catalog originally launched in 2008. CP used GP7u's and GP9u's for these rebuilds. As a cost saving measure they are built to Tier 0+ standards.
In this shot at CP's clover Bar Yard in East Edmonton CP 2212 and 2236 have just been parked at the end of their shift. Behind them is another ECO unit # 2231. In the far right background of the picture, still at work are Ex SOO GP38-2 CP 4515 paired with another ECO unit, #2230.
