Running long hood forward, CP "Trainmaster" 8919 rolls south on the Galt Sub by West Toronto Station on a transfer run to Parkdale Yard. One of 21 FM/CLC H24-66 units built for the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 50's (8900-8920), they were the most powerful units of their time, and often used solo on transfer assignments in the Toronto area when this photo was taken. Those duties would later fall to the lone MLW RSD17: 8921 "The Empress of Agincourt". Also note the sideways-blocked load in the trailing gondola.
