Amtrak F40PH No. 346 (EMD 11/1980) powers through Bayview Junction at the head end of the Maple Leaf Limited with a nicely matched six car set of circular cross section Amfleet coaches. While the Maple Leaf lives on, albeit now powered by GE P42’s, sadly No. 346 does not. Sold to Larry’s Truck and Electric she would ultimately be dismembered and parted out.
