On the approach to Loon, CP SD90Mac 9147 + SD40-2B 6076 + SD40-2F 9014 grind Toronto to Thunder Bay freight 221-24 through one of the many S- curves on the Nipigon Subdivision. With most deciduous trees having lost their leaves, the Tamarac\'s, only coniferous trees to change colour in the fall brighten up the scene.
