Even with 4 veteran EMD beasts for power, CN 435 maintains about 10mph past mile 9 on Copetown Hill. CN 5503, 5477, 5546, 4729 are for power, going all out. The legendary EMD sounds of run 8 were unmistakable. This particular train was a good 150 cars long, nearly half of it being loaded autoracks. CN 5503, the leader, while technically an SD60F, is classified as an SD50AF. It's zebra paint has been tampered with, containing bits of newest paint scheme on the left side, likely due to engine door replacements. Only a few blocks behind 435 is 360, which was moving at a much better pace and closing in.
