Having set off early in bright sunshine and survived white out conditions half way to Paris, I heard a stopped order had been placed on traffic. A truck had hit a bridge at mile 63! Having resigned myself to a quiet morning it was anything but. After 50mins the order was lifted and a procession of trains started. On the rear of the first westbound 7508 was hauled "dead".
