I'm not a big fan of the "Meatball" roads, but back in 2003 they were still fairly new to me and were something different to shoot. Here 3 of the nicest looking ex-CN GP40-2W's, painted with the Huron Central 'meatball', rest on July 27, 2003 at the service facility in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario after having arrived earlier in the day from Sudbury. Can't beat a clear northern sky..........

  1. Meatball? :)

  2. “Meatball” is a term I was told by a GTI Manager that is used by the company to refer to the logos on the sides of their motive power.
