What a lashup. CN 527 heads west through Montreal West with CN 4719, CN 4809, CN 8102 (ex-EMD demo) and CN 2855. These last two units are dead in transit. They were both trailing on CN 708 (new oil train for Valero near Quebec City) but died and were left at Southwark (where 527 originates). This meant that 708 had to take 527's usual power (CN 8933 & 2441), and 527 was back to running with geeps like in the old days. Quite a lashup! The conductor (Lorence Toutant) gives a friendly wave as VIA 57 approaches at right.
