CN 5483 is leading the way through Willingdon Jct as this load of grain is taking the Thornton Tunnel line to North Vancouver. The trailing unit appears to be an unusual SD40-3.

  1. The trailing unit is a GTW unit. It is one of a bunch that they got from the KCS which is why they are grey. They all used to have CN logos on the sides but those were painted out when they were retired…but since then a handful have been reactivated.

  2. And…..those grey GTW ex-KCS SD40-3′s are former CN SD40′s.
