On a extremely nice, brisk New Years Eve 2014, WCEX F59PHI 905 leads the second West Coast Express to leave Downtown Vancouver for Mission. The train has just crossed the Pitt River Bridge and is framed nicely under the Golden Ears Mountain. Southern BC experienced an very nice few weeks during this Winter, in which we received rare sunshine, which allowed the Coastal Mountains to stand out. What was also rare on this occasion was West Coast Express in daylight. As it was New Years Eve, two of the five trains left Vancouver early.
