Note the changes to the track layout, for Trillium to cross the main and run south to Thorold involves heading a half mile west to the new crossover (behind the photographer). There is at least, a van in the consist.

    I miss that van. Last time it was in Merriton was early 2013.

    The distance from Glendale Avenue (where the car is crossing the tracks) to the Welland Canal (where we see the bridge) seems somehow shorter than I remember it. There used to be a trestle which crossed the tracks between Glendale and the bridge over the canal.
