The one and only MLW M640 built for the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1971 with a 18-251F prime mover pumping out an astonishing 4,000 hp for her time. She came into the spot light again as a test bed for AC traction when she was rebuilt in 1984 with Brown-Boveri electrical equipment on A1A trucks. Now she sits at Exporail for the rest of her life on display along with other relics to remind the old and the new railfan\'s of big Alco\'s of past times.
