For decades CN GP9's have been toiling away with slugs in yard service throughout the CN system. Slowly but surely the slugs are being replaced with gp38-2's as the GP9's are retired. While still a common sight, I figured I should turn my camera to these common 'yard goats' - not often the prized subject of any railroad photographer, but still, sounds just as good as any EMD 567c on the mainline.
