A pair of Toronto Transit Commission PCC cars wait at the start of The Queensway to turn into the TTC's Roncesvalles Carhouse, at the intersecting junction where King Street, Queen, Rocesvalles and The Queensway all come together in an interesting arrangement. Car 4215 was out on a King run, and 4232 behind signed up Queen. Another PCC is also visible along Queen St., lined with storefronts advertising for CIBC, the Royal Bank of Canada, and Pickin' Chicken BBQ.

Behind the 4215 is Gray Coach Lines' Sunnyside bus terminal. GCL was an interurban coach operator owned by the TTC, with many routes branching out from Toronto to places as far as London, Owen Sound, and North Bay, advertising "Travel The King's Highway" and other travel information in neon lighting on its facade. Part of the nearby Edgewater Hotel's signage (today a Howard Johnson) is visible on the left behind the GCL terminal (now a McDonalds). The old CNR Sunnyside Station is out of view to the right.
