One of those really crappy days when everything seems to turn to shades of gray; the TH&B sends a rock extra up the hill southward to Port Maitland. Only unit identified is leader #73, probably on account pen failure when I went to jot the numbers on my hand. It is wet, sticky and about -1C. Wind whipped snow is sticking to the poles. Down the hill at Aberdeen earlier, about 14 miles back, it was but wet slush.

  1. And one week or so from Dave Beach’s shots! Winter sure throws curveballs for weather!
