From my records on this photograph (which goes as far as the file name), this locomotive is from OSR. It may have been repainted into OSR paint, though I'm not sure. And I'm not sure how it ended up in Waterloo coupled to those ex-VIA blue coaches that the Waterloo Central acquired. This needs to be open for discussion...

    OSR 506, it’s still black to my knowledge. I believe it was leased or loaned to WCR while one of their units was down for repair.

    OSR 506, MLW RS-23 built 1959, is still painted black. Currently it has been out of service for over a year awaiting new wheels, but soon it will hopefully be back in service.
