Not everything that moves railcars is from GM or GE. With operator orientation, air brake and car coupling/movement training complete, CN 686-34 a brand new Knox Kershaw KYC550 yard cleaner is ready to start work. We have just coupled to gondola WC 54226 and will move it over one track in order to get at CN 188314 which will be an assigned car for the new machine. Over time, cargo shakings from a variety of shipments such as grain, plastic pellets, potash, and other commodities sift from cars and collect in the yard tracks. After a pass with the KYC550 these tracks they will be clean right down to the wood.

  1. Hmm this sounds like a commercial :) hahah

  2. But wait! Order now and we’ll include…..
That type of narrative is force of habit for me. Not likely to see too many orders for one of these from the uploaded photo and caption. :)

  3. Hmmm, better not let them catch you in Mac Yrd! They are not a fan of trespassers. :-)

  4. Phil, what do you think Paul does for a living? Take a wild guess.

  5. Hey Stephen, what do you think I do for a living? Take a wild guess.

  6. Phil you are not the only one that works at mac yard, please don’t go accusing everyone of tresspassing :)

  7. Ahh, Stephen you may need to learn what sarcasm is from my original post. Note the smiling face at the end of the comment. I read his post and know he operates the machinery. Lighten up man.

  8. Ahh Sarcasm. The one emotion that is difficult to re-lay over the Internet. Sorry about that! I’ve seen you post similar comments on Pauls other photos, so I figured you were after him :)

  9. LOL..life is too short to be after anyone. Especially fellow railfans. Yes, agreed, sarcasm does not re-lay on the net very well. My bad.
