Caption: The once busy yards in Stratford are all but quiet during this peaceful break in the day. My trip up to the station was anything but peaceful. Many snow squalls, high winds, sleet and even rain was overcome to do some early Christmas shopping in Stratford. And this station always brings back many memories of when I lived in Stratford. Many trips to the station would see the old VIA dayliners unloading passengers, and picking up new ones to take to their destination of London and beyond.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like to ride the rails here, as evidenced in the photo it must be a fairly bumpy ride!
