VIA's eastbound Atlantic is only a few minutes from the Halifax Terminal. It is at Armdale, a flag stop for local VIA trains. Note the CPR boxcars at far right. These are at the Simpson-Sears warehouse and store. Shoppers from around Nova Scotia could come into town on the RDC's, walk to Simpson-Sears and the adjacent Halifax Shopping Center, then catch a return train home.
