The GO Fleet at rest at Bathurst St.The GP40-2's went to CN, and I have no idea what happened to the xex- Rock Island GP40's. Not the middle train in the yard that has one single level car behind the power. These were nice oddities

  1. I remember the single level trains covering extra rush hour services in the late 80′s on the Lakeshore East. Always enjoyed watching them blast through Rouge Hill.

The GP40M-2′s went to GMTX, then LLPX.

  2. I never worked the single levels; they were gone when I hired on. I still hate the “split shift” concept 25 years later. The full day 12 hour jobs weren’t a lot better.
