More Montreal electrics: 6714 and 6715 (built in 1913 for the Canadian Northern Railway by GE at their Canadian General Electric plant in Peterborough ON) handle a Deux-Montagnes line commuter train at Val Royal station. Teamed up with the Z4a "English Electrics", the Z5a "steeplecabs" and the electric MU cars, they handled much of CN's electric lines commuter work until retirement in 1995.

Both units have been preserved today in museums: CN 6714 currently resides at the Connecticut Trolley Museum, and 6715 currently resides at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa.
