A brand new right of way. VIA 65 is westbound through the St-Henri neighbourhoood of Montreal on a brand new roadbed and brand new tracks. Until just a couple of weeks ago CN's Montreal sub was located on the now mostly empty space at right (note the ties piled up in the distance). Infrastructure projects in the Turcot area have made it necessary for CN to move their main line a bit further north. The train is approaching the De Courcelle crossing, which reopened to vehicular traffic two days ago after being closed for about 4-5 months.
