A KCS present for Christmas eve? KCS power is very rare in Montreal, and on Christmas eve I was lucky enough to shoot two leading a train, for the first time. Here CN 529 with two KCS engines up front (KCS 4610 & KCS 4147, with NS 6923 last) is approaching Turcot West. CN 529 originates on Norfolk Southern tracks as NS 31T and becomes CP 931 when interchanged to CP. CN picks it up at Rouses Point where it becomes CN 529.
